American composer Carl Moerz Frangkiser (1894-1967) composed extensively for band, inspired by his background as cornetist and band director. This romantic song in 6/8 is a short and easy work suited for beginner’s quartets. The range is very limited, especially downwards, there is no bass clef, and the parts are all quite linear.
