Performance Notes:

Another one of George Hyde's arrangements featured on the Horning and harping CD, and available on the Cortett Music website to listen to, How DO you spell "RHYTHM", anyway? is a medley including I got rhythm, Crazy rhythm and Fascinating rhythm. The arrangement is done in the usual Hyde style, with parts that are not difficult to play, but have a great impact on the audience. Many of the parts are doubled, so a nifty arranger could reduce the number of horns by as much as four, but the effect with eight is so much greater, and there has to be a balance with the rhythm section (in this case drums, harp and double bass). With a bit of help from colleagues of other departments, this will be one popular item in your repertoire.
