Performance Notes:

Beauty and the beast is a song from the 1991 Disney movie of the same name, about a prince who is transformed into a beast and the beautiful girl Belle, who ultimately delivers him with her love. The song was written by Alan Menken, who also wrote scores to The little mermaid, Aladdin, The hunchback of Notre Dame, and more recently Enchanted, among others.

This arrangement has a fairly high first horn part, similar to Meyer's Malaguena (though not quite as high), and similar, much easier parts 2-8. Again, a recording of this song is easily found in order to be able to decide whether a solid, even if not overly challenging arrangement of Beauty and the beast is wanted in the repertoire.
