Performance Notes:

A straight-forward transcription of a Renaissance dance titled Ballet, this piece is mainly homophonic with passing notes. The parts mostly move by step or small intervals (with the exception of some octave displacements mainly in horns 1 and 4). With a tempo of mimim (half note) equalling 76, this piece may just be too difficult for a very beginner's quartet, however certainly suitable from the 2nd year onwards.
